A Perfumer-Creator is an artist, a composer of perfume, commonly referred to as a Perfumer.

The Perfumer’s compositions are developed from specific blends of natural and/or synthetic, fragrant raw materials. Such perfume compositions are developed for their precise utilization in the different supports for which they are intended: perfumes, cosmetics, personal hygiene, home fragrances, cleaning products or industrial applications. Composition requires, on the part of the Perfumer, thorough technical knowledge of the properties of the different materials utilized and perfect memorization of their odor.  The art of the perfumer is to assemble the materials in a manner that is original, aesthetic and efficient. Perfumers express the conception of an imagined olfactory form in writing with a formula, the realization of which, carried out by measuring the different components, gives the perfume its material existence.
